Once finished, the 100-meter-tall bridge will become a new landmark on Miami\u2019s skyline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first arch of the bridge, located near the Adrienne Arsht Center, was completed in June. Work continues on the remaining five arches, with segments already installed on three and foundation work underway on the other two. At the same time, construction of the two-level expressway is progressing steadily, with support structures and columns in place and recent progress in concrete pouring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project\u2014officially called <em>Connecting Miami<\/em>\u2014is currently scheduled for completion by late 2027, though that timeline could shift depending on construction progress.
